Happy Birthday to You...

Today is Zane's 5th birthday. This morning I woke him up singing and he was so excited about his birthday that he didn't mind getting ready for school. I should try that every morning. He got his first BB Gun and a target for his present. He wanted to go shooting this morning but Keith told him it would be this evening. We had to put it in Keith's truck so sneaky Zeke wouldn't get into trouble this afternoon. He likes to plunder! Nana gave him his breakfast with a candle on top. And, I told him how his class would probably sing to him today. He should have a great day....
Emma asked if she was going to get her gun for her birthday? What? She is soo silly. That is one thing she has never played with or wanted. But when brother has one, you know she wants one too.
Zeke wanted to know were his was and Ellie was just excited because of all the excitement. The boys had their first soccer practice last night and Ellie went along to uh, help me out. LOL
As I tried to get the kids to kick the ball around the orange cones she would pick them up and run away with them. This picture is of Zane's soccer team that we are coaching this season. They are called the Ball Hawgs! I'll post the link to their site so you can check on games, pictures, etc.

Fist Day of School

Today was Emma & Zane's first day of school. Emma started 3rd and Zane started Kindergarten. Emma drug around this morning but did get ready on her own time.....was not thrilled about going. With Zane, it was like pulling teeth. He said "I don't like Miss Callie, or Miss Callie's class, I'm not going to that school". I had to explain that it was not the same thing and all the new "cool" things he is going to be doing today. Eventually he gave in and was looking forward to playing on the playground. I sure hope they let them go outside today. LOL This is the picture from this morning.
Zane is in Mrs. Roach's class and Emma is in Mrs. Cook's class. They both seem happy.... so far!

July Stuff
Emma and Zane are getting ready to head off to school next Friday. Emma is going into the 3rd grade this time and Zane will be in Kindergarten. He is very excited about being a big boy at big school. Emma will be cheering for the first time this year too and when you add that along with Girl Scouts, she is going to be quite busy. And Zane is wanting to do soccer and take karate but we'll have to see how that goes.
Zeke and Ellie are staying with Nana and will continue to do that when school starts. They say they are going to Nana school. Zeke has become obsessed with his "handsome hair". He even took a mirror with him to church a few Sundays ago so he could keep his hair looking handsome. Ellie is just Ellie. She is soo cute. She had developed quite the attitude though. She only wants me to do anything and everything for her when I am around. She loves to put on make up with me in the mornings and be girly. I swear she is so freakin cute! LOL
We've just had Haisten's birthday this month. I can't believe how big those boys have grown. Hudson was only 4 and Haisten was a baby when I met them. We drove by there this weekend and Haisten was burning up his new dock. All boy...
Well we are still working on the houe plans and hoping to have them done soon and have the foundation under way. We are ready to see some production. I will post newer pictures of the kids when I can.
Have a good weekend. Will post again soon :)
Oh yeah, please put Hannah Grace Harrison in your prayers. She is still fighting. You can check on her at Caringbridge Hannah Grace Harrison
