Big Boy Hair Cut

A week or so ago Zeke got hold of a pair of Nana's kitchen scissors and cut several chunks out of the top of his hair. He had just had a cut a week before but he needed another one to fix the mess that he made of his handsome hair as he calls it. And Zane gets so hot and sweaty playing in this heat that he has been asking for a big boy haircut quite frequently so we did it yesterday. Yes I cried when the hairdresser started cutting off the curly locks of his hair but in the end he really did look like a big kindergarten boy! Even Zeke was shocked. Just look at his face in the picture... They are soo cute!

Zane's Program

Last Friday night was Zane's Program at his school. He graduated from the Pre-K class and was excited that he didn't have to go back to school there. We've been talking about him going to Emma's school a lot lately as we drop her off at "big school" and I think he just wants to be a big boy. It was really funny to watch him during the program. Over all the other kids on the stage you could hear Zane singing the songs. And when it came time to dance, well watch out. That boy's got some junk in his trunk and the rhythm to move it! Here are a few pictures from the program. Enjoy!

May Stuff

I just posted a few new pictures below if you want to check them out.

Emma is only two weeks away from being out of school and she is really looking forward to some time off. She stays very busy with school and softball so I guess she is a little worn out.

Zane's last day of preschool is next Friday after his program. And it couldn't come too early. He announced out loud in the middle of his school a few weeks ago that he didn't want to stay anymore because he didn't like his teacher. I hope he gets all that out of his system before he's old enough to be sent off. LOL

Zeke and Ellie are enjoying being at Nana's School (as they call it). Ellie is working on her ABC's and almost has the song down pat. Zeke knows all of his colors now. I'm glad they get to stay home and play.

We are still working on the final house plans. I can't wait until we break ground!

Ellie will be turning 2 on the 29th of this month. We're not exactly sure what the plans are but we do know that she wants "Earrings for my Happy Day" as Ellie says.

I've also added a few new pictures to the Cracker Jacks Blog if you want to click the link and check them out.
